    Hello all

I am about to get two 12" kicker cvr subs that are 4 ohm.(or should I get 2 ohm?) and I am thinking of getting the audiobahn a8002v amp (i'll post specs at the bottom). I am putting this in an ext cab silverado under the rear seats in a ported box. How do I wire this to get a 4 ohm load and be bridged to get the 800 watts like the specs say (what exactly does bridged mean?)? Will these two 4 ohm subs work fine with this amp? I am trying to do this system on a budget. Sorry if these are dumb questions but I'm new to car stereo.

    Thanks for the help

According to the stats posted on the Intake amp, go with two, 2 ohm woofers.

Wiring them up in series. this will yield a 4 ohm load in mono/bridged. which is waht you want on that amp, it will see half the impedance!

I thought the CVRs were dual voice coil...dunno for sure though

Yeah They Are Dvc's So Wouldn't The 4 Ohm Subs Work Fine?
