    got a buddy that wants to get a good loud system, looking for a good 18" for loud daily probably in the $500 - $600 range give or take. Vehicle is undetermined for now, most likely an SUV, possibly a small hatchback sports car, either way will slot port and tune around 35Hz. Prolly get a HO alt, 2 AGM batts, and a BXi2608D as I've learned thats the best cheap way to go.

    Fully loaded BTL daily option is what we're lookin at now, but want to know what else is in this category?

    IA or audioque makes good subs.

    got some buds that run IA's and they do not disappoint one bit.

    hell i cant think of any other right now. i'll have to get back to you.

    does RE make an 18?

    SA nightshades. RE makes the MT, thats old school, IDK what they have now... I think they sank when they sold to USAmps and the event of Fi

    i have a friend that runs 2 RE 12's. there the SQ versions, and sound very very nice for daily. he has all RE and US amp stuff too.

    i can never remember the models tho...heres a pic.

    those are the MX... not the SQ subs. The XXX are for SQ. I already got a price quote direct from RE on 6 XXX 18's (06' and newer model) but they want WAY too much. RE went to crap IMHO after they sold to USAmps. Theyre stuf is much better but the pricing killed them. They were THE company for a while, now they are rare to find.
