Does anybody know about this Sub? I got a 12 in Boston Acoustic Generator series and I know its atleast 10 years old but Its still in new condition and I was wondering if anyone knew the specs on it

At my shop they have a couple Generator 12's...I'd buy em but they cost too much for me. But damn do they sound nice...are they all black with a raised "Generator" on the cone??? They don't have much excursion but they can get loud and low...but I really like their sound quality
yeah they say Generator in small letters under Boston on the front and the sub is black with a small magnet
Yes those are the ones at the shop down the street from my house. They sound really really nice...I'd be nice if you have the T/S parameters for it so you could model a box for it
I actually found the manual for it on Boston Acoustics website and its 500 watts rms and it can either be 2 or 4 ohms. I found one on the internet for $250
I have a 10" Generator and like it. Running it on a Fosgate Punch 500S and I think it sounds great. Course, then I get in the wifes Ranger, and she has a JL 12W3, run by a 250/1 and it is like night and day. But, I am planning on doing something different with the box I have for mine to see if I can make a difference.
Anzboi I guess I mean it is louder, and it hits a ton harder, which is more what she likes anyway. I don't listen to her type music, so I can't say for sure on a regular basis. Mine sounds really good as an enhancement to the music I like, but at times, the bass just doesn't seem to be "there". Hope that makes sense?
Tis better to buy a HIGH QUALITY amp at 100 watts as opposed to a CHEAP amp at 400 watts... You have a nice sub, buy a quality amp for it!
Here buy this...puts out same power at 1-4 ohms so you don't have t worry http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14130
