ok i'm tossing the sony's finally....i was looking at 2 12 compVRs or 2 JBL GTO1204D..both would be in a 1.5ft3 sealed box powered by 250w RMS kenwood amp. anyone with comments or suggestions
JL 12W3v2's would fit in that application like a glove. So would the new 2007 Alpine Type S or E subs. The JBL wants a small box (1.0) and the Kicker comp VR wants a much larger box.. up to 4.6 cubes! Plus it is a 400 rms speaker.. I think the JL 12W3v2 would be where its at. Since the new V3's are out you can prolly find a good deal on a pair of the old V2's from dealers trying to get rid of their outdated stock.

If you can though, call around to the local JL dealer near you and see if they are running a clearance on the old 12w3v2's as you might be able to get a really good deal plus the JL warranty with it if you buy at a dealer.
well damn it man.. totally screwed up the perfect plan... you just had to do it didnt ya! hmmmm ok well ill have to rethink things and get back to this.
ok go with either the JBL's or these bad boys http://cgi.ebay.com/Boston-Acoustic...ryZ18803QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem just make sure to polyfill that box for these subs.
.7-.8 cu ft sealed?? I'd say a couple of these http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=31 They work very well in small sealed enclosures like what you have. Boston G2 subs are also great woofers...My friend has a couple G2 10's and they pound pretty hard
yeah i think those G2's will work great for his application.. like i said though he just needs to polyfill the box.
