just cause the sub can handle xx amount doesnt mean you have to give it that much.

mine just happens to be right at its 450 watt rms rating.2 ohm

oh and tomorrow i will put the orions in(1 ohm) to see what 600 watts will sound like on the subs.they can handle 500 each but will sound just as good with 300.

let us know how it sounds up against your nine.5. I was also looking at the nine.5 but it puts out:

    RMS Power @ 12.5v : Front Channels
    4 x 100 @ 4Ohm @ 0.05%THD
    4 x 55 @ 8Ohm @ 0.05%THD
    4 x 175 @ 2Ohm @ 0.05%THD
    2 x 350 @ 4Ohm @ 0.05%THD

    RMS Power (Subwoofer Channel) @ 12.5v :
    1 x 250w @ 4Ohm @ 0.09%THD
    1 x 450w @ 2Ohm @ 0.09%THD
    1 x 600w @ 1Ohm @ 0.09%THD

Now, my problem here is that it puts out too much power for my DLS and too little power for my L5 15". I wish i could just get this but I don't know if it will work for me..

or you can run the fronts in an all active set up.

meaning each speaker will have its own channel.the nine5 has an awesome xover built in.
