new box for the RE's

ok well as most of you guys know i have two older RE sx's 12's. D4's running @ 1Ω to my nine.1 amp.

i had them from an old box i refaced to better suit them. they sounded good too. but i didnt like the look of the box.

so tonight i called my buddy Gmonk and we're going to try something.

it was nothing fancy. just a box i made using the RE web site.

38.5 x 18 x 18. L port 30HZ tuning. loudest was a 142.4 burp, and an average of 141.0 give or take a few tenths.

Gmonk cut a new top 38.5 x18 for the new top, then cut out the holes. fit like a glove.

box is a bout 3.75 cf internal. subs sound good. im going to try some poly fill to see if it helps any. my really deep notes are lacking a little bit.

yeah it just got a new top is all. nothing fancy to look at but it sounds good.
