well that means you wont overpower them.lol

OR you could bridge that 4ch to 2ch and run the fronts at 180x2. then run the rears off of the head unit.

OR just get a 2ch for the front and run the rears off the headunit.

    So you're suggesting this setup?:

    Sub amp:

    Front components sub:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6571_Kicker+ZX450.2.html

    Front components:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6855_Polk+Audio+MOMO+MMC6500.html

Pioneer deck (also in my plans for purchase):
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12283_Pioneer+AVH-P4000DVD.html
    With RMS 22w x4 channels.

Rear coax running off of Pioneer deck:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9110_Polk+Audio+db651s.html

Does this look like a better setup than the one I had before with the Kenwoods? Also, is there a way to bridge the channels coming from the pioneer in order to get an RMS of 44w per coax?

    Thanks,
    Chevyman

no you cant bridge a head unit. those are nice rear speakers. i have them in my front doors. i sold my freind at work my older ones and they are run off his deck and get plenty loud.

there is no ned to worry about the rear speakers. for a proper rear fill you need to have a hint of output from them. kinda like a 80/20 split or 75/25.

i run 400 watts rms up front and only 100 in the rear.600 on my sub

that doesnt mean i crank it all the time,i'd go def.lol.

i have the headroom to do it tho.

Ok, this is what I'm thinking...

    Two Subs:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8585_Kicker+CompVT+07CVT124.html

    Sub amp:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6595_Kicker+ZX750.1.html

    Front comps:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6855_Polk+Audio+MOMO+MMC6500.html

    Front comp amp:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6571_Kicker+ZX450.2.html

    Rear door coax:
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9110_Polk+Audio+db651s.html

The Pioneer 2DIN deck will be purchased at a later date. The total price of all of this stuff (without pioneer deck or any other supplies) will be ~$1,100 if I can find the 750 amp on ebay for a reasonable price.

The rear coax will be run off of the HU.

My biggest question= What other things will I need to buy along with the subs, amps, and speakers (ex. Install supplies, batteries, wiring, tools, wood for box, polyfill, sound dampening or anything else possibly needed)??

    Thanks a bunch,
    Chevyman

you want to look into the dual 2 ohm subs that way you can run them into 2 ohm mono. the dual 4 ohm mono subs can be wired into 1 ohm or 4 ohms.

Ok, I bought the Sub amp, the subs, the pioneer deck, and the amp wiring kit. Do amps only use one lead from the battery?

    Thanks

power wire you mean? if it's for the power then yes, only one line from the battery. Are you only using one amp? I forgot and i'm too lazy to look through the thread. if your using two amps then you'll need a distribution block.

and jonny is right. don't forget about the fuses, you should fuse the line as close to the battery as possible.

Ok, Ill make sure to do that.

Yea I actually am going to be using two amps, but I haven't bought the other one yet. Should I buy a distribution block when I make the second half of my purchase (door speakers, sound dampener, and amp), or should I buy it now?

    Thanks

I just received the subs, amp, and touch screen pioneer. So far, the touch screen is installed along with the amp. All I have to do now is build a box. Ill have pics up pretty soon.
