mechanics advice

    i'm no newby when it comes to red neck engineering things you know.lol

    come to think of it i did some thing like that on my 87 pick up. altho i could only find 3in plastic with a sweep in it. the inlet hose on it ripped too,but it had an air cleaner assembly on it like an old carberated car.

    i used it to draw in out side air instead of hot engine air.

    i will look into it tonight. i have to go out to pay off the guy i got my sub from.

    just got back. no go. they have 3" and 4". i would need a 3.5".

    doesnt like advanced auto parts have a universal ricer cold air intake kit for like 50 bucks?

    not a gas guzzler but still......no on the shelf parts for american trucks.:(
