Is there any reeason that I cant just use a marine battery in the back of my car, other than it may not recharge as fast as say a "Stinger battery". Also whats the down falls of adding just a normal, high cca automotive battery in the back. This is my first time with adding batteries so any help would greatly appreciated.

I do it. The negatives are the fumes that leak out of the battery. I roll with my windows down though so I dont worry much. You need to look for high AH batteries. The ones at Walmart are 125AH which is actually pretty good.

IMO, marine batteries are better. They generally have a higher AH, therefore are better suited for car audio.

    Ah

Is the AH the reserve? I found a farm/truck battery today that was 195 reseve and like 850cca for $100...Is that a fair price?
