I have run suse10, Kubunto, ubunto and damn small linux.... this machine I use regularly has suse10 on it also (dual boot)

Currently i am getting ready to try Mandriva Linux for my shop PC.

The programs for linux such as you mentioned are every bit as good or better than what you have to BUY for windows, all this stuff is free!!!

Here are a few links you may want to check out

Might just be a disk problem or a normal install problem. I have the same problem with Bass Box Pro, it says it can not find the location of the program whenever it's there.
Yea, well it's kindof like Windows XP, every Windows Update you do, it fixes errors that you would get while also updating you with some of the latest stuff, Java, Internet Explorer, Service Pack etc..
I have not tried Linux, i know it's protected up pretty good with alot of commands, hard to hack.
ah, yea I didn't think about the bootleggers that will give it out for free, no wonder I didn't hear about this stuff, they installed Vista at my school on one of the computers in the lab and my school district already has all the spying and copying set and done. A bunch of BS for me also.

Well if you buy a new computer with Vista and it pis%es you off to much, go buy Windows XP lol.

Some of the bad parts of it, is that alot of big software are not Vista Capable, just whats been hearing.
lol forget paying the 1700, people get stuff like that for free all the time.

    Glad to help Ranger.

xp is no longer available, only on ebay now, what problems are you having ranger is it with snagit? Slowmo, have you tried going to where the program is installed and double click the .exe file manually? It may be a problem when the shortcuts are created.

I have several versions of xp and have used them since it came out, they are beautiful, no problems at all, no registering, no updating needed ever. I will use these copies forever! Or until i see something better which i don't think i will. I have full control over my system, i have full control of all connections coming in and out through all ports with the help of norton and it's compatable with everything. All Hail XP because it's the best you will see for a long...time

    Hail Hail

The program does not install at all. I will type what the error says. I go to install so I click on Setup.exe and it says The parameters are not correct.
Not sure, usually I can fix this problem, but the program is not installed so not sure what the problem is, I've tried two different versions of Bass Box Pro 6.
