Is it bad for your Stereo to have only one speaker?

One of my speakers went bad and I can't replace it for a month or so. Is it hard on the amp to have only one speaker - and why?

    Thanks!

Welcome.. I don't think it would cause any problems. It would just be annoying to have only one speaker playing though.

    No problem at all here

This will not hurt your amp at all...just your ears as you strain to hear what is going on.

one of mine "went out" before....turns out the connect came loose on the speaker...Quality Best Buy installation there. Good thing the wire never shorted out on any metal or my HU and amp could have been toast. I'd disconnect the blown speaker from the amp just in case.
