Yes, your domelight will turn on when you unlock or disarm the alarm. But you need an ignition line hooked up, thats how the alarm knows to turn off the domelight when you start the car.

Every alarm is different, mine also turns on the domelight when I turn the ignition off. (domelight turns off when the alarm is armed or in one minute)
So ignition line is important, it also prevents the alarm from arming when the car is on.

Should I hook up the remote start act. input (-) white/blue from the brain. Its supposed to give two pulses for the r/s. If I do want to use this, where does it connect to? Also You said earlier I should connect my factory alarm disarm wire, but I don't have a fact. alarm so what would be the benefits of doing this? Thanks again.

If yo dont have a factory alarm then dont worry about it.

I'm not sure what that wire is, I would need a better discription of what it does. Then I can tell you what it might be needed for.

The -white/blue is a remote start activation input. Input comes from factory set to 2 activation pulses. It is necessary to have 2 consecutive ground pulses on the white/blue wire for the remote start to activate or deactivate. Same for remote control activation when set to 2 pulse setting, necessary to hit * twice for r/s to activate or deactivate. Its from the primary harness h1 from the brain. Thanks

From what you discribed you shouldn't need that wire. Its purpose is to allow you to activate the remote start using a different keyless, ararm, or other triggering device.

Sorry about the slow responses. Way toooo much work this semester.

Well I tested my alarm today. Everything works like it should, I had to reprogram my lcd remote to get it working the way I wanted it to.

Also on my r/s bypass 556sw where does the red/black wire connect too, says it is for r/s input? I know their are two different wires I can connect to from the alarm. one is -blue/white r/s or defroster wire. or -white/blue r/s activation input with 2 pulses on it.(I guess you have to hit * twice to activate r/s with this wire) Does it matter which one I tag?
