Go for the PS2-820, Ranger has had experience with it and only a few failures in a few years....and plenty of power for one 12

please stay away from both Dual and Visonik stuff... Poor contruction and reliability.

If you want a headunit stick to your mainstream brands. Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Eclipse, ect..

Dual sucks balls and so does Visonik...please don't go for flee market crap.

Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood....all good reliable brands

Those packages are a scam....why?? because they suck balls, everything is overrated, even the wiring...the higher end packages are worth it.

That lanzar sub in a vented box will destroy that package

hey Jonny, that pioneer deck you are selling is much better than that dual, dual and lanzar and audiobahn are all over ebay and i find anything there's lots of on ebay then it's usually kife! I don't know about their speakers but the amps are high power but cheaply made.
I would keep that pioneer and get a nice amp and speaker.

johny......I know you want some serious bass and some nice sound...it can be done. even on a budget.

But dont think that buying the cheap stuff will get you want you want. in this situation, if you can save a little more, and wait a few nonths...you will be better off in the long run buying quality stuff, as opposed to buying cheap stuff with "big" numbers...RIGHT NOW.

I always say (to quote my granpa, bless his dearly departed soul) I am too poor to buy anything cheap......

maybe the smell? lol.. anyways.. well if it sounds great then he must be doing something right. If its an Alpine sub .. it should say right on the cone what it is.. like S or R or X. Not sure which one made 8's though. MTX amp is a pretty solid choice in my opinion and can't go wrong with an Alpine headunit. Must have a pretty solid install for it to sound that good.

I have done many a sytems with the 8 inch driver as a medium to convey subbass....

    they can sound awesome!

But in your car, with what you want...I would go with the largest driver you can afford.....No replacement for discplacemtn.......woops, thats engines!!!!

Go with a 12 or 2, or even a 15 or 18 inch sub if you have the space.....

BTW,,,,what is the largest box that you can fit into your trunk? (yes you need to take a tape measure out to your car an measure it, accounting for any abstacles ...)

Once you come up with a box dimension, we can help even more!
