Hello I have been looking to get a new 12 sub and would like to get a Alpine of Boston Acoustics sub but i have never had any experience with either brand and i have heard they are both good. I am looking to put it in a ported single box.
Your best bet is to find them around and listen to them, thats the only way your going to get a feel for wich it is you like better. i have no suggestions either way, they are both good subs but ive not built them out before, only heard them. my only suggestion is to check out these two here. there a bit less expensive. I was kind of leaning more towards the alpine myself then i read the reviews about the Boston sub and thought i would get some opinions. Unfortunatly there arent alot of people around who have systems where i live and the only audio stores are 1.5 hours away so i cant really go look then think on it for a while.
