I've been tearing my mind apart trying to pick the ideal parts for my sub system, I am looking for extream quality over power and kick. I can't stand cars that do nothing but pound. i'm thinking in the 400-500 range. I've found the ideal sub to be able to do what I'm thinking about doing I believe, it's a Rockford Fosgate PRIME R500-1, 500 rms watts at 2 ohm's 320 at 4. anybody know any good subs for this amp? I was looking for a shallow mount 12" 400-500 rms

jbl comes to mind, as well as image dynamics for quality. there are dozens more really. choosing the right sub for you is going to be a hard choice indeed. any decent sub can sound good in the right enclosure you dont need to buy an expensive sub for it to sound good.
