Going with some beginner bass, But I have a question about the subs/amp together.

I'm new to this car audio stuff, but I've been advised by numerous people with experience, and the guys at the site I was ordering from, and I wanted to get other opinions.

First off, I have a Alpine CDA-9884 head unit. I have 4 Kicker speakers, and just received 2 of my 12" Alpine Type E subwoofers. You guys can clown me because of the 'Type E's' but, Im not looking for ridiculous bass, their enough for me. Anyway, I still havent ordered my Amp yet.. the Amp I was looking at is an Alpine MRP-M500. It give's out 500rms watts, and is apparently 1100 Watts in total. Each sub can handle 250rms Watts, so it matches good. They also have 750 Watt peak power. My question to you guys is, is it worth spending 300+ dollars on this Amp for these subs? Will I get the best out of my subs with this Amp? I was ordering off www.crutchfeild.com, and a guy I spoke to on the site said that it would be a perfect fit. But, I wanted other opinions.
