i have to take out stuff every time i burn a dvd...if theyre like 5 or 6 years old, anything older i dont have to compress... a lot of time i end up having to just burn the movie itself and nothing else, ive yet to figure out how to make it 2 dvd's--but i really dont want to... -Cody
why???? I do all new releases and never have to ake anything out(except once).... Going from DVD9 (store bought dvd) to DVD5 (dvdR media) normally requires about 40-55% compression whih Dvd shrink does perfectly, allowing copies to a single disc,
I have DVD Shrink set up to Automically Configure the Compression, i dont mess with it at all if it Tells me to Remove items I do, if it does not I dont worry about it you have to remember a store bought dvd will hold 8-9GB of Data, a DVDR only hold 4.3GB's
yea i know that but ive been told me several people that you need to delete stuff until you can get it up to 70%, below that picture quality is compromised a lot of times i have to click re-author and then title 1 and just burn the movie without any extras it is possible to burn it on 2 dvds...but im too lazy to have to switch dvds...they have dual layer blank dvd's now...im not sure if theyre open to the public or if a regular burner can use them or how expensive they are... im out of blanks though...going to have to go to best buy and reload :gunsmilie: -Cody
Well it all depends on what you think "quality" is if you dont have a $3,000 Tv you probally will not beable to tell the differance My recommendation is to Burn 1 or 2 at full compression and see if YOU like it or can tell I cant, but I dont buy High Dollar TV Sets, I get RCA's and such from Walmart
