well im maried with 2 greate little girls, 2month and 2.5 yr old. the point is diper bags 2 strollers and a swing all gose in the back of my wifes 05 neon as you can tell no room for a woofer box. she keeps telling me she needs more bass! there for do these free air subs work? if not ill have to find a good single 8in woofer. if that will even make a diffrence. if the free air woofer works then i was hoping to remove the spare tire and just put a board over the empty space, thus creating some kind of enclosure, will it work ?thanks for any help.
all of Elemental Designs' subwoofers work in IB applications. Elemental Designs The term you are talking about is not free air...free air is hanging a subwoofer in the middle of a field...what you mean is Infinite Baffle. In a automotive case using the trunk as the enlcosure.
IB and free air mean the samething. why not go for a bazooka tube.they are somewhat tuff. ive heard the 8 in version on 200 watts and was not dis apointed
