I know everyone sets their setting to their own personal preference, but I was wondering which EQ setting you guys use, or if you use the custom EQ. If you use custom, how did you set it? I listen to mainly hip hop and some rock now and then, and I'm looking to have clean bass (that doesn't pound TOO hard) as well as rich and clear sound from my speakers. I've been trying to get my sound perfect for a while, and I'm trying to see what you guys have done to get it perfect. For the majority of time, I set me EQ on powerful. Setting options: Subwoofer setting 1: Off, Normal, Reverse (???) Subwoofer setting 2: 50-125 Hz ; -24 to +6 EQ setting 1: Low (-6 to +6) Mid (-6 to +6) Hi (-6 to +6) EQ setting 2: Low 40-160 Hz ; Q1W,Q2W,Q1N,Q2N Mid 200-2,000 Hz ; Q1W,Q2W,Q1N,Q2N High 3,000-12,000 Hz ; Q1W,Q2W,Q1N,Q2N Loudness: Low, Medium, High Bass: 0 to +6 SRC LV Adjust: "SLA 0 to +4" High Pass Filter: 0 to 125 Hz
Sounds like you have the p6000 or p600p huh? here are my settings on my p6000 Setting options: Subwoofer setting 1: Off, Normal, Reverse (???) On normal. (subs wirid bridged) Subwoofer setting 2: 50-125 Hz ; -24 to +6 set at 0 will put up to +6 or take down from time to time. EQ setting 1: Low (-6 to +6) Mid (-6 to +6) Hi (-6 to +6) (actually looking at this its prob not the p6000 orp600 maybey the 5's? idk but i would leave these alone for now and use the proper EQ EQ setting 2: Low 40-160 Hz ; Q1W,Q2W,Q1N,Q2N Mid 200-2,000 Hz ; Q1W,Q2W,Q1N,Q2N High 3,000-12,000 Hz ; Q1W,Q2W,Q1N,Q2N now for EQ that is something your going to have to tweak, i usually boost 12k an 3k herts +2 and+1 respectivley, then leave mids about where they are, and the 40usually +1 and the 125's area +1 and depending on what iam listenting to i might boost mids a touch. Loudness: Low, Medium, High high Bass: 0 to +6 i leave this alone SRC LV Adjust: "SLA 0 to +4" +2 High Pass Filter: 0 to 125 Hz off
