I'm looking at getting a new digital camera as the one I have now really blows. It was free so I guess I can't complain too much. I was looking at the Canon PowerShot S50. Right now it's $400 at amazon. Amazon Have any of you guys heard anything about the S50? Bad, good? How about any other reccomendations around the $400 price tag. I'm not looking for something real professional. I want something easy to carry with some good features and very good picture quality.
Why do you need 5MP?? I paid $165 for my 2 megapixel Olympus D390 that is the camera that took my Truck Pics (if you did not see them, search) works great, But cannon makes great camera cant really go wrong with a canon I would also look in to Kodak, Newegg has a 5MP kodak for under $300
Well I was looking at some of the other lower Canons. But I figured for not much more money I could get a better camera (around $100 or so more). Although $165 or so sounds funner to spend <_< If I go to CES next year I want to take some nice pics and get some more webspace from ya.
