    How Sound is Made:

When something vibrates, it moves back and forth. A vibrating object could be a speaker on a CD player, or your vocal cords, or the string on a guitar. As the object vibrates, it pushes the air molecules next to it closer together, in patterns corresponding to the movements of the object. These patterns of compressed air molecules bump into the ones next to them, passing on the pattern. In this way the original pattern of vibrations is sent through the air, as molecules continue to bump into their neighbours.

I occasionaly have one of those little hondas or whatever pull up beside me at a light and i let her rip, haven't lost yet lol. Kick their ass with a stock taurus haha the shame.,..But it's only once in a blue moon, scared of getting more tickets so i mostly drive like a sane person lol.

I read that the microphone or db meter is mounted on the outside of the windshield or plexiglass to measure SPL. Is there a db meter or microphone that i can buy cheaply? And how many watts or db do you think it would take to start shattering windows in my taurus. The car is very very well sealed in it's design already so i have a good start i think.

electro the world record db holder will never be a daily driver that can actually play music and sound good...because a daily driver is supposed to sound good.

There is always a trade off

game on!!!!!!!i've got some old amps and subs in my closet that want to come out and play again.

i'm sure there is a world record for a daily driver.how do you think the db drags started?just some buddies going at it till someone got out of control and built a non driver db monster.

I'm sure there IS a record for the loudest daily driver....but a daily driver vehicle will never be louder than world record spl holder, the Pioneer truck...that thing is definitely not daily driveable and able to listen to music

Hey pedro, don't go crazy, there is no way i can afford to get even close to competing, am just thinking of a new way to create bass without using speakers, amps, batteries. Where there is a will there is a way. It is only vibrating air molecules, i'm sure there is other things besides speakers that can do this, maybe with the help of a computer chip.

Azn before you dismiss me and say no, no, no....Check this out! I'm looking to talk about the reasons why you can and can't do things to help advance my theory lol. Speak up bro, maybe we can get somewhere and patent an idea.

I may have some money to play with also in the near future..

HyperSonicTM Sound (HSSTM) from American Technology Corporation employs ultrasonics to create audible sound in the air. It works by using harmless ultrasonic tones that we can't hear. These tones use the property of air to create new tones that are within the range of human hearing. The result is audible sound. The acoustical sound wave is created directly in the air molecules by down-converting ultrasonic energy to the frequency spectrum we can hear.

HyperSonic Sound is produced without the excess baggage of conventional speakers--there are no voice coils, cones, crossover networks, or enclosures. The result is sound with a potential purity and fidelity never before attained.

Sound quality is no longer tied to speaker size. The HyperSonic Sound system holds the promise of replacing conventional speakers wherever they are used: in the home, in movie theaters, in automobiles--everywhere.

ok look at the earthquake machine episode.use that little motor they had to vibrate the bridge and apply that to a home made giant sub like in the killer sub episode.

it would be like a giant transducer.
