2003 zx2. yeah its got 57miles on it, but its iced out. two kenitics batteries, back seat converted into two 13.5 W7 with two 1000/1's and 2 sets of VR comps with a 300/4, five QT rims, 5th molded into the trunk. trunk still usable too!. winter tires and rims... HID lights, 7color LED underglow kit.. top of the line excelon HU. i mean it's got everything i'd need.
hahah. well yes, this is true. but i don't know anything about these cars. i've joined a zx2 forum and i'm posting questions for them. is 57k a lot for a I4?
idc if it was a Saleen Focus (yes they made them they can from the factory with nos) its STILL A FOCUS!!!
well, if you really like the car and it does in fact run good... then go ahead and get it. 57k is not a lot for an I4. Hell my ranger has over 100k and still runs fine but its been well taken care of. The only advice I can give you is just pay for an inspection of the vehicle. Take it and get a nice inspection just to make sure there are not any major issues you can't see. I have been burned more than once because I didn't do that. Plus, this way you can't go to your friend and say you didn't say this or that was wrong. I don't like to buy cars from friends or family for that reason. The most important thing is if you think you would drive it and be happy in it.. then why not.
yeah... i found that out.. the fact that zx2 parts aren't that easy to find. but i'm willing to risk that. I work at a shop, I can custom make anything if need be. Plus, all the things in the car that usally break, he already replaced. shocks, struts, altenator, battery, clutch, blah blah blah.
ok 9g for a 2003 is alright. When I think of a zx2 I think of the old ones because thats all I usually see. Is this what it looks like?
Ok heres the thing. I got an rsx today. I fell in love with the car and the engine and the ride. I just fell in love with it. Wish me luck de-riceing it!
you know if they didnt have that carbon fiber crap, and those stupid side air dams it wouldnt be half bad. That body kit isnt really over the top. The doors are but it would be such a pain to revert them back to normal. Is that real carbon fiber on the hood, hatch, and side panels.. or just paint? If its paint just strip it and get it repainted... if its real sell the parts and get your stock panels back and repaint it. So just change out those few things and you will be good. Id keep the body kit and I like the wheels. I just hate carbon fiber.. so gay.
Are those door hinges 45 degree hinges? Can you go vertical and horizontal wit them. I always wanted to do that to my car just because I like the stock body kit and then I open the door and there like woah but I better not. Stock look is the best look. I could almost say if you don't want that carbon fiber stuff at all you could almost trade somebody for stock oem ones MAYBE. I know carbon fiber hoods are a lot more expensive.
the carbon fiber is all real and high quality. but the fenders just are too much for me. might just get them painted when I have the money. then paint the roof black, and then get black rims. the doors are like cheapo just vertical ones. They KINDA go up in an angle but not a big angle. i like the 45* ones but i don't have money to change em. lol
its like a celica.. "looks fast" good thing about the rsx over that taurus is the resale value will hold much much better. I think you did a much better buy.
Nice choice...I like...but hate the uber rice fenders I'd just paint the stock rims black if it was me
Yeah I hate cars that just look fast. Sleepers are the best. This would be a nice looking car if it weren't for the carbon fiber.
