and is mdf strong enough to make a false floor that you can walk on it??

 

depends on the thickness and if it's got plenty of bracing.

would putting the amps under the bench seats be out of the question?

 

well the thing is that i want the amps close to where they are now because the a/c is on the floor, on the back part. and i also want it to be really stealthy so i wanted to put the false floor on the whole back part so it looked like normal floor. because what i have now hidding the amps is a wooden box, and that is neither stealthy nor cool.

 

AZN this is the rear air port vel. is it good or does it need to change?

 

ok.gotcha.also plan on some cooling for the amps.

if i could do it over i would have planned my floor a little diffrent.a wood bottom to avoid screwing my amps into the metal floor.

also completly covering them with a solid cover.so i could reuse my anchor points in the hatch,but it's too late for that.

its fine though.i have one of those rear hatch floor mats' that cover up my one amp that my box dosent cover.

so plan it ALL out.you might have to raise the floor at least 5-6 inches (total) for good air flow and fan clearence.with about 3 1/2 to 4 inches for the amps to be in.

 

why is your vent length 2.55 inches long...something is majorly screwed up

 

ok welli made the box 9.761 cuft, substracting the subs vol and that i estimated like a 9.06, the port was then putted to 37 Hz

 

Well if you have that much room than use two 6 inch round ports

 

ok i changed it to 2 6 in ports and it came out 7.84 in long

no...I would just put them in the middle between the subs

lol you don't need that much bracing....just a few cross braces.

3/4 inch MDF is pretty strong. Also you will have to somehow seal the MDF from moisture...if it gets wet it swells up and deforms
