I'm about to go ahead on my Hertz High Energy speaker setup, and I'm trying to contain costs, as much is possible with this type of setup. So this is my question. They showed me the Audison SRX-4 amp with the High Energy setup, and the Hertz EP-4 amp with the Energy setup. Here are the specs for each - Hertz EP-4: 380W Audison Srx-4:360W The Hertz is $200 cheaper, but offers 20W more. I know watts aren't everything, but I'm kind of lost on the difference here. I know Hertz and Audison are basically the same brand, so I'm looking for a little guidance on this one...
actually, the audison amp offer 5 more watts per channel at 4ohms x4. the hertz is 60watts per channel x 4 and the audison is 65watts per channel x 4. either way, you can't go wrong but there are amps out there that can be had a cheaper prices that will perform just as good. you must be really into SQ for equipment like that.
