    hello forum,

ok with a 2-channel 1000 watt amp that is 2 ohm stereo stable

and two, 400 watt, 4 ohm subs......

TO GET THE MOST POWER OUT OF MY SUBS

should I....run the subs in series, each on one channel at 4 ohms impedance?

or....bridge the amp and run the subs in series at 8 ohms impedance?

this is my first run at this stuff. my friend gave me my hardware so that's why it doesn't match up. i appreciate ya'lls help.

    thanks,

either way will get you 250 x2 or 500 x1.. both are the same outcome.

what amp? are those specs max or @ 2 ohm stereo to achieve 500 x 2.
