    Hi,

I have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X991 with a Basslink 2 sub. I just had the deck installed, but the audio guy said that I would need to reseat/rewire my Basslink 2 as it can handle the 5 volt from the Kenwood deck.
(Best Buy said Circuit City did a ****ty job.)

Does that mean I need a new amp kit? Kinda don't want to pay for another Amp install.

My system sounds decent as of now, but I want more thump.

the basslink systems were not known for their ability to thump. it was meant more to add fill bass.

if it can handle the 5v input signal he may be talking about running rca's to it.
does the kenwood have a sub out?
