    Hello all,

i needed some advice on my car audio. I have this 4 channel, 600Watt Houston acoutics amp that powers my 12" Kicker Sub. Don't know the exact specs on the sub but i was wondering if bridging the amp would give me more power.
Currently, the sub is connected to the postive feed of one of the channels and the negative feed of another channel. What would be the best configuration to get the most power?

Ultimately, any suggestion depends on what impedance your subwoofer is.
If it is a 4 ohm sub (or can be wired to 4 ohms, if a DVC), then you can bridge two channels of your amplifier to create a single sub channel that is more powerful.
If it is a 2 ohm sub, you are out of luck.

It sounds like you have it bridged already, based on your description for how the sub is wire to the amp. ;)
