i have two alpine mrp-m450 amps and they put out 400w @ 2 ohms...
i just ordered two rockford fosgate p3d210 (400w rms - 800w peak) subs and they can be wired in wither 4ohms or 1ohm because the voice coils are 2ohms a piece. ( correct me if im wrong)

my question is, how do i wire the subs? 1ohm or 4ohms?
im kinda lost if you know what i mean.

    thanks for the advice.

I'm sure those amps are not 1 ohm stable,so 4 ohm is the only way.Unless you can strap the amps, that is the only way with those amps.

They can't be strapped,I just looked it up.So 4 ohms is it 220 watts rms per sub.Do you have the birth sheets for the amps?See if you can change your order to dual 4's.You'll almost double the power to them at 2 ohms.

i wish i could change the order; they have already been shipped. I noticed the ohm problem too late smh.
