sounds like alternator wine.does it go up in pitch with the motor running? what is your amp mounted too.mine did that after i had them screwed...

my sub is rated at 450 rms and i feed it 350 rms at moderate levels.way less at normal levels,and it slams BTW do you have a box planned out...
i dont know what 800 watts rms will do to a sub that is rated for 400 rms. even though it has a 1600 watt peak.thats most likely for very short...
even though they are being blocked by the dash a bit they still put out some sweet highs. think of it as them being attenuated some what.
