8 gauge will work for now but its a good rule of thumb to get the largest wire you can so you wont have to upgrade later.
are they single voice coil subs or dual?
wowzers! that must have been scary!
if the amps take speaker wire in then yes,if not then a line out converter will be needed. in short what it does is it takes in the radios signal...
you know.. if the gain is set too high it can amplify any noise all ready there. so all the noise is gone then?
yes............
because they dont NEED 1000 watts. thats the recommended power. if the power is clean you dont need a lot of it. my amp was giving my 10in L5...
not true.....i used to run my whole truck off of my old M44 4ch and it got plenty loud and clear.
that'll work but isnt that a lil pricey?
mismatching subs is not a good idea. especially a ported and a sealed together.
huhh?? do you plan on running all those together?
i used to have a 12v socket behind the dash giving power to a portable XM receiver and i got some noise too untill i moved it away from my rca's....
yes it would.
2 ed 10's in a sealed box
a mono amp(1ch) will work for the subs, and a 2channel or 4 channel will work for the mids.
well look into companies with good reps like.. elemental designs power acoustik phoenix gold crunch soundstream infinity xtant there are more...
are you planning to run an amp for your mids and highs too? these days 400 will get you at least 2 nice amps.
i use big ole wire nuts for that. works just fine.
thats what i mean. you didnt have the deck connected to the amp. so it cant be the deck making the noise.
