    the gains have nothing to do with how the box plays certain freqs,that may just start to clip the amp. you may be able to readjust the crossover...

    how bout some 8's lol. i had about 75% cargo room. thats the box shown. i now have 4 and around 60% cargo room. gets plenty loud and deep to.

    you dont need an amp just yet. run it with out an amp for now. the amp will give you more headroom is all. at reg normal listening levels it will...
