try using a relay for the remote turn on
i'd rather go for the 4 12's they can take more abuse...you'll reach the mechanical limits of the 8s sooner than the 12s
ahh but a 25 dollar 12 inch speaker can handle a 1200 watt rms burp for a couple seconds before frying...the EHQS 12 from elemental designs....

12.8 isn't bad...dash reading isn't that accurate though taking them at the amp is more accurate
mind you this is a sub designed for awesome sound quality...as are all of the Ov.2 series
