Welcome to CAT!!
just asked cuz it's already assembled. I may have a hard time putting the braces in but I'll give it a shot today
or here's a box for 2 10's downfiring. Probox makes some awesome boxes. Pedro loves his probox and he hit in the 140's with just 1 10" kicker L5....
a safe way other than downfiring? you could go with a smaller box so the subs won't touch the seat but then your box area will be really small....
what would happen if i didn't brace the box? what kind of problems could i run into?
with your situation, maybe it would be best to have the subs downfiring.
sweet roof flex pedro. I gotta put some vids up myself.... do you have any deadening under the headliner?
since you have limited space i'd take the advice of pedro and G3 and just load it with polyfill.
Here in the philippines we don't go by percentages for tint. it's either light, medium, dark or super black. My tint is super black so i guess...
sweet! free is always the best. lol Old school underrated amps are nice. Have fun with it.
got it. I'll do that this weekend. I just don't have the time to do it now. I really wanted to hear how it sounds. Right now, It's just sitting in...
just don't got with dvc 4ohm and wire only one coil, you won't be using the full potential of the sub. fstrfvo, what ever happened to the L7? did...
well it depends upon the sub. If the subs are single voice coil then it can be done like this:
sonic is good. you may want to try ebay though. you can get stuff cheaper there. also. woofersetc.com and onlinecarstereo.com are good as well.
Damn azn. that's a real good looking box! you're getting real good at box designing...
Welcome to CAT! If you have any questions just shoot away. that's what were here for!
Thanks, it looked like to me that i would need some kind of bracing... If i were to just use 3/4 MDF for the bracing, what width would you suggest...
what kind of amp do you have for your sub? do you want the same brand or are you open to any brand?
the CDT EF-61FG's are rated at 140watts RMS @ 4ohms.
Here's a few pics when I was building it. Only took two pics cuz I was pressed for time. finished it in about 2 1/2 hours. good to hear that...
