    which sub is better out of these ones..?

    I'd go with either the Type R's if you to go ported and have the room for a 5 cu ft box. If you want sealed I'd go with the eD's

    It's reponse starts to roll off around 60Hz...It is crossed over at 63hz from the HU

    Looking for advice to build first sub box

    box doesn't have to be pushed all the way back. In some trunks it is louder with the box pushed back towards the rear bumper.

    use 0 gauge...4 gauge will work fine but bigger is better

    second battery helps with the voltage drops...but you have to have a decent alternator...

    oh yeah...I forgot about that. It isn't meant for trunk cars. Why not just buy a sub, build a box, and buy an amp. You don't have to have JL...
