Should I do single chamber with 2 ports or 2 chambers with 1 port each?
[IMG] I could build a box like that^... with 2 ports 12.5"x2" so I still get 50 sq. inches of port but I can do L ports along the sides and...
Which box is that? Sub? Amp (power)? ...our favorite SPL guy on the lowrider site... HIM: 40hz [IMG] kiss any sort of deep low bass goodbye...
Yeah they're paying for everything. I'm going up to radioshack in a minute to get mini-anl fuses... I'm going to see if they have a dist. block.
Well I got my distribution blocks. The power block is fine... but the ground block was wrong... The website says: Features * Platinum...
Yeah the first one, the 3 cubes at 31 Hz.
Alright, in that case I think I'll do that and go with 40 Hz. I did 3 cubes at ~31 Hz last time so I'm curious to hear the difference.
[img] I tried 4.5 cubes tuned to 40 Hz for kicks... looks like a pretty smooth response curve. I could make the box 43" wide, 18.75" deep, 14"...

I can do 4.5 cubes at 40 Hz with a port 7"x7" and 12.86" long.
Hm... WinISD tells me that 4.5 cubes tuned to 35 Hz requires two 6" round ports 22.71" long... the box is only going to be 18" deep.
The reason I ask is, you want to keep the port at least 4" from the back wall of the box, right? I was told that if I do a common chamber box I...
Ah, damn, so I have been doing it right lol. I was hoping I was wrong and I'd come to find out a pvc port would take up pretty much no volume. Oh...
Nice. Now I just need to find something that can cut a clean circle. Oh yeah, I was just thinking, say I built a box, and the internal volume was...
