So the speakers are 2 ohm, but even if they were 4 ohm that amp still puts out 90 watts per channel and thats RMS, it should be plenty loud.
to me it sounds like a short somehwere, thats what the fuses are there for, to protect your car and equipment.
Check your power wire from front to back, it might be touching metal somewhere and causing a short.
What size of comps are you looking for? Also what brands are available to you or are you buying everything online?
