aww, thats got to suck having a sub broken when you get it. 18" huh? I thought my 15's were huge...
If I remember right the JBL GTI's are some pretty mean looking subs. I have wanted to see one but no one around here has them.

Welcome to the forum! I think you have given me some pretty valuable information a couple times over at caf.
I highly doubt it, but none the less I see otherwise stock Civic DX's with the stock hub caps and 3 foot wings all the time.
Maybe a pic of the Doc's head somewhere in the install would clear up any questions? Might look a little corny though...
I have heard that some fords have inertia switches that shut off the fuel line when you hit something, and that subs might be able to trip it....
