Three 12"s would definatly be louder, but I dont think they can touch the SQ of a Brahma. A Brahma 15" with 1000 or so watts will be plenty loud...
I had similar happenings with my Aiwa cd player and using 2 ohm speakers instead of the 4 ohm that was recommended. Constant skipping.
A hell of alot better than the previous but the frame really arent that professional.
