    Do I need a fuse for my amp?

    1) amp fuse- yes if you have two 30 amp fuses in the amplifier you should match that and go with a 60 amp inline fuse within 1ft of your battery....

    What gauge wire for an amp

    go with 4 gauge. and make it about 6"-1ft longer than what you need (how i know, just ask me) and make your power wire the same gauge
