    Sup guys.
I just got a car and I have a brand new sealed box that is built for 2 15'' Kicker l7's. I have a plan and I need someone to tell me if itll work.
Heres the plan: I want to buy a Brutus Hifonics 2000w mono amp, 2 15'' Kicker L7's (08 model) 4 ohm, and install a pioneer head unit.
Basically, my question is, do I need a bigger amp? and are these subs compatible with the Brutus amp?
I just wanna know if this 2000w amp can push these subs for a solid, deep, bass.

well i dont know as much as the other fellows on here but one of those 15's are rated at 2000 watts/1000 rms. so you could run them but they wouldnt sound good, unless you bridged the amp and i would be extremly careful when doing that. so possibly but for a more exact answer wait for a more exp member to answer

The amp is a mono amp - one channel. How do you bridge that?

If the amp puts out 2,000 watts RMS, and the subs are 1,000 watts RMS each, simple math tells me that 2,000 watts would be a good match.

The hifonics amp would work fine. There's better out there, but for the price it's a good unit.

Well it kinda depends, if your not looking to completely bass your face off all the time you should be alright. Unless you start getting some bad problems with lights dimming really bad or real low voltage on your battery I don't think you need to worry too much. If you just want some good sounding deep bass then you should be alright with that amp (I had the one above it and it didn't even draw too much from my electrical).

If you start to have problems like that or you want more power from your system then there's a few small things you can do to upgrade, or you can get a second battery

Alright cool. Man thats cool that you got the BTL. thats what I originally wanted to get but there real pricy. Instead, yesterday I got 2 Kicker L7 15s (the newest ones) and a power acoustic 2200w amp all for $475. Killa deal
