Missed the Alpine. Trying to stay cheap here. I want my trunk to shake a little and still not spend a lot of money. I can make my own box and I already have the 12" sony. Got two amps okay for low wattage subs which I found. Check it out and let me know.

So You think if I had a good box, my xplod and that hifonics could shake?

one or the other.(read my other post) both subs will most likely sound different in the same box.

if your gonna spend money get a matching pair.

ive never seen/heard a mismatching setup do well at any of the shows ive attended.

hell i wont even photograph them for the simple fact that it never looks or sounds good.

Okay, I'll scrap the xplod and get two 12" hifonics. Sounds like it'll shake in a good box? With my two amps?

Yea it should. My buddy has 2 10s in a ported box tuned to 33Hz with a crossfire vr600d amp and it shakes like crazy. His windshield wipers vibrate and everything.

No they are q power 10s. In a properly built box, those hifonics 12s should hit good and rattle stuff.

its funny that you keep picking subs i've designed a box for. those hifonics i did 5.3cuft net @ 31hz. they slammed out some seriously nasty lows but they still blew haha. we put a pair of type-rs into that same box off a nine.1 @ 1ohm and i honestly cant understand how the front windows dont break when they're cracked open slightly.
