well guys we figured out the problem! the amp was defective and the RCA cables had a hole in them and that was causing the cut in and out! thanks...
well i took of the dash and changed out the RCA's and there is no sound still? so maybe the 0.5 ohm took its toll on the amp? the blue lights...
