k ive come to a conclusion, i am gettin this Kicker Warhorse WX10000.1 - Warhorse Series Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier • 5000W x 1 chan. @ 4 ohms • 10000W x 1 chan. @ 2 ohms • 20000W x 1 chan. Max • Signal-modulated power supply • Texas Instruments DSP • Oversized Gold Plated Power Connectors and about 20 or so 15" L7's lol ha that would be awesome but idk, that is my dream!!!!
just cause the sub can handle xx amount doesnt mean you have to give it that much. mine just happens to be right at its 450 watt rms rating.2 ohm oh and tomorrow i will put the orions in(1 ohm) to see what 600 watts will sound like on the subs.they can handle 500 each but will sound just as good with 300.
i'm running 4 gauge and it works fine for me.also have only one batt. my amp is right at 1000 total the way its wired now.
these.... got them last month or so.dual 4 ohm coils,500 watts rms each power handling.got them and the box for 100 even. gosh i love pawn shops
let us know how it sounds up against your nine.5. I was also looking at the nine.5 but it puts out: RMS Power @ 12.5v : Front Channels 4 x 100 @ 4Ohm @ 0.05%THD 4 x 55 @ 8Ohm @ 0.05%THD 4 x 175 @ 2Ohm @ 0.05%THD 2 x 350 @ 4Ohm @ 0.05%THD RMS Power (Subwoofer Channel) @ 12.5v : 1 x 250w @ 4Ohm @ 0.09%THD 1 x 450w @ 2Ohm @ 0.09%THD 1 x 600w @ 1Ohm @ 0.09%THD Now, my problem here is that it puts out too much power for my DLS and too little power for my L5 15". I wish i could just get this but I don't know if it will work for me..
or you can run the fronts in an all active set up. meaning each speaker will have its own channel.the nine5 has an awesome xover built in.
