I recently purchased a pioneer avh-p6300bt head unit and hooked up my pioneer xm radio (GEX-P10XMT). I am receiving my xm signal but it is not fuctioning properly. I am not getting any pad data (including the names of the channels or songs) and when I attempt to scroll through the channels only a select few come up (even when I am in "all channel mode"). Does this sound like a compatability issue, problem with the installation or something else? I have called xm and they have sent numerous refresh signals but it has not corrected the problem. Any help that anyone can offer would be appreciated.
ya, sounds like some kind of a compatibility issue.... the model you have listed seem to be discontinued on a couple of sites i looked up.... the one SURE module for XM for your radio i have found is GEX-P920XM.... hate to say it but i hope you kept your receipt...
