You know you didn't even have to cut up your door panels to even make some fiberglass pods. Could have just made some speaker rings and use some dowel rods to raise em up a lil and glass over that.

I'll try to find some pics

I have a plan! lol The speakers sound amazing now, using the door as a box. This is the best front stage i have ever had lol, along with the factory tweeters up by the mirrors. It's actually worthy of being called a front stage.. So, i'm going to cut the door panel right in half along the curvy line below the handle and replace the whole bottom piece with fiberglass over top of the 6x9s sealing them in and also a small port. Yes?

I have to cut the bass at 50hz and sometimes 80hz on my deck, depends on the music, they are still a little floppy on the low notes, so i figure sealing them in there will be more pressure on them and will perform tighter. Find those pics azn? Would still like to see some other designs.

Hey azn, i had to prove you wrong lol, You said i wouldn't get any bass out of these, only midbass. These infinity reference 6x9s are sweet. Check out the video, my camera sucks so it's dark and sounds a little distorted at times but that's my camera not the speakers. This is only with my deck and two 6x9s and a 100 watt amp.

    My first utube video wohoooooo.

I don't think I ever said 6x9s would never make any bass...I normally state that like 6.5's or smaller won't get much bass from them lol...nice vid though

    this thing was ridiculously loud.

if your going to glass your front doors then maybe a 7in or 8in mid bass would work for you.

if not those 6x9's seem to do the job too.
