I just bought 2 new sets of speakers and one 4 channel amp. how do i hook these up. I have infinity kappas 6.5s(2ohm) in front and Boston Acoustic 746(4ohm) in the back and a Alpine MRp F240 4 channel amp. Will i damage my speakers or amp by hooking up a set of 2ohm speakers and a set of 4ohm spears to my 4channel amp. If not how do i hook these up to my amp? any info would be greatly appreciated.
I believe that amp is stable at 2 ohms when not running bridged (4 ohm stable bridged). You shouldn't have any problems with what your wanting to do.
