   Hi, I had just purchased those ^ speakers and installed them. But the bass coming from them is almost non-existent.. I was wondering if anyone knows of a bass-heavy 4x6 speaker? Preferably under... $50? On another subject, my car had the stock speakers for a 99 Chevy Malibu, and those were awesome. Anyone know what those speakers were? Brand wise? Thanks in advance.

   a 4x6 is not really designed to put out a lot of bass. my suggestion would be to close off the rear wave from the speaker and build a small enclosure for it.
