blending now is great. that was my whole problem before (lack of mid bass) but since i disconnected my audiocontrol the blending is perfect! I'm really happy with the system now. everybody that has heard and saw it so far says you cant even compare it to the last set up. even my wife noticed the big difference.

too bad about the audiocontrol introducing noise into the system.

well, i/m actually glad that was the problem. I was really disappointed before about the sound and i was beginning to think it was the head unit. that would have been a nightmare for me.

it's all good now though and i'm really happy with it now.

azn, i think one of the reasons why my lows may be better is because i took out my audiocontrol three.1. the sound improved by a big margin and i guess the subs did too. there must be something wrong with my three.1.

what kind of tones show i take vids of? so we can see where the roll off is?

doesn't really matter..usually I'll just play a sweep from 100Hz down to 20Hz...the roll off is where the bass response drops off sharply. Then I play tones every Hz to see where the lowest audible response is.

Audiocontrol or not...this enclosure models in WiniSD as a pure SPL fart box lol

you're right azn. although i was kinda hit while doing it, i did notice that the roll off is kinda high but hell, i don't play that much low bass anymore and it's sounds really good! i'm impressed! I can't even see out of my side view mirrors cuz they shake so much. lol forget about the rear view mirror, it's totally useless when i'm playing bass heavy music.

What I'm saying is that the enclosure isn't JUST a bass reflex...theres more to it than just a port. According to WinISD the enclosure should sound like ass.
