Which deck? Kenwood KDC-X995 or something else?

I have been putting this off for long enough.... time to finally throw a stereo in my car. Any suggestions on what deck I should use? Three local shops carry Kenwood, Pioneer & Clarion. From what I have seen I seem to prefer the new KDC-X995.

Any opinions good or bad with this deck?

well It depends on what you want to spend. The stereo I am getting is KIVBT901. It is mostly the same but with a nice 3" lcd screen. It doesn't have a CD player, but if you have a flashdrive or an IPod who cares? It is 370 i think on a major online/outlet dealer. Just google it.

thanks.... I will check it out. Did you look at any other manufacturers?

Presently I use a CD changer in my stock system & I was thinking of adding a changer to the car, presently stock stereo.

With price.... seems like the days of copper chassis $1000+ decks are over, at least with single din. I want to keep it under $500..... thanks
