Hello. I am looking for a high end Alpine and am deciding between a few different models: 7915, 7949 (This would be the handsdown winner if it had a rotating knob instead of up and down switches), and 9815. I wanted a "Made in Japan" unit that I could afford (between $100-200) and I have seen these for around that price range. I would love a 7969 if I could find one in that range. Any other suggestions for other units would be highly appreciated. My criteria is high sound quality, low noise, high quality components, etc... Let me know what you guys think would be the best choice for me! Also is there any difference between the Japanese versions of these vs. the US? I have heard for example that besides the radio signal being different that the 7949JG uses higher quality components than the 7949 export version?
